My Paper Crafting Digi Dessert Fridaze Owl Graduate gift card

It's time for the Digi Dessert Fridaze post at My Paper Crafting.
This is card showcasing a file from Melin's Paper Crafting World.  It was perfect for me as I needed to make a gift card for our neighbors daughter who is graduating from high school next week.  I even added the name of the school (my alma mater too) on the hat with a white gel pen.  I had a $1 stamp from a couple years ago
Check My Paper Crafting for your free digi this week.  Melin is always so generous with her wonderful files. .

Good morning,
Suzanne of Cricut Crafting Grammy. We are back on Thursdays to explore different themes, elements, techniques or embellishments. This week we are using Pearls  on our tags and ATC's. There is no restriction on what tools are used to create these tags or ATC's. It could be a die cut machine, punches, stamps, etc. The sky is the limit. However if the Design Team uses Digis or SVG's they will be from Paper Crafting World. As a side note, if you don't know what an ATC card is, we have a definition at the bottom of our post.

I hope you will join us each Thursday here at My Paper Crafting for

My last post for BBTB2/ Challenge Life's a Zoo

Today is sad for me.  I have come to the decision that it is time for me to take a break from being on Design Teams.  With caring for two of my grandchildren 5 days a week and teaching on Saturdays at the scrapbook store something had to give.  I have loved being on the BBTB2  design team.
Rather than choose I am dropping all my teams for awhile.
It was a great honor to join the team as BBTB2 was the first challenge I ever entered years ago.  These ladies have always challenged and inspired me.   So although I will be taking a break from being on design teams I will be scrapping and posting so hope you will stop by and say hi and follow me on my blog.

So for my final BBTB2 design team post
Sharon came up with a great challenge Life's a Zoo.  For this challenge you need to use your Cricut and any zoo animal from any cartridge.
For my layout I used the new cartridge First Few Years which I bought digitally with some credit I had.  So it forced me to use Cricut Craft room which I am getting the hang of it.  The thing that is different about this cartridge is it actually gives you the cuts for the entire page and it is laid out for you.  I used some DCWV Boys paper and these precious pics of my grandson who is now 7 months old.
Sorry the picture is poor with the glare but hope you like the layout.
So join us this week for the Zoo challenge and link up to BBTB2.
Happy Craftin.

Bee layouts and cards

I just love this new paper from Adorn It.  The bees and flowers are so cute.  I made some samples for the scrapbook store where I work and this paper is just flying off the shelf.
I did two double page layouts

For this one I also used my new Cuttlebug folder.

With the leftovers I made some cards.

Prima Engraver Album for Father's Day

This is a book I designed for my friend and the owner of the Scrapbook store where I teach.  Her husband has just left to go over seas and she wanted me to make an album for pictures and letters to him.  I used the Prima Engraver paper collection and wood pieces.   The letters on the front are Tim Holtz chipboard and I colored them with Alcohol Inks.
This is the cover
Lots of flaps, pockets and places for goodies.

My Paper Crafting Creating with Pink

Let me just say that with three granddaughters creating with pink is not difficult.  I have done a lot of pink layouts in the past three years and am sure I will do many more. For the challenge at My Paper Crafting I created these two layouts are of my granddaughter Kenzie who is 2 and a real ham.

Recipe
Holiday Cakes for the vine cut a 2 inches
Sweetie Title is from Elmo and Friends cut at 3 inches
Silhouette of girls heads is from A Child's Year cut at 4 inches.
The cut is actually of a girl holding a shamrock but I covered the shamrock with the roses.

Please join us this week for one of the challenges here at My Paper Crafting.
We would love to see your creations.

My first Greeting Farm stamps and Copic markers

I am so excited to share my first cards using Greeting Farm Stamps and my Copic markers.  I have been using Spectrum Noir Markers for some months now and finally gave in and bought some Copic markers.  One of my friends at the scrapbook store has been helping me
plus I bought some books from Annie's Attic.
We now carry these adorable Greeting Farm stamps at my LSS.  So I am really trying out some of the new techniques I am learning.
For the first one I added a Plumeria from Life's a Beach.  Inside it says Aloha.
For this one I added a MS punch for the lace, and some flowers from Wild Orchid in England.  The branch stamps is a MS punch also and the stamps was from Michaels.
This third stamp is actually from Michaels and I added some
MS punched sand dollars, ribbon and a brad.

BBTB2 Challenge Pass it On Celebrate the Joy of Giving

Our DT member Sarah came up with a great challenge this week for BBTB2.    She asked us to Pass it on and Celebrate the Joy of Giving.  I decided to use my Imagine cart All Wrapped Up.  I made this cute little box and card.  I just love the bold patterns on these cuts and the cute Russian dolls.  I thought this would be a cute little treat bag and card to say Thanks or have a great day.

Sorry for the blurry picture.

I hope you will join us this week and create a project to brighten someones day and share the joy of giving.  Then link it up and join us here at BBTB2.  We would love to see what you create.  Remember you must use a Cricut cut to participate in the challenge.

Double layout Class I am teaching with June Graphic 45 A Place in Time

Yesterday I shared the May Graphic 45 A Place in Time layout I was teaching at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  This is the next design which is the June layout.
Again the first page is designed by Graphic 45 and sent out to instructors.

Closeup

Then for the second page I take the leftovers of the cut apart sheets and Bazzil cardstock and designed a second page.

Closeup the banner is made with a MS punch.  The ladies in my class love banners so for the second page each month I create some kind of banner.  We are really having fun with this.

May Graphic 45 A Place in Time Layout Class today

I am so excited today I get to teach the next class in in my Graphic 45 A Place in Time Layout Series at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  I have 12 lovely ladies signed up for these classes for the entire year so we are having a lot of fun and really getting to know each other.

The first page is the design provided by Graphic 45 and sent out to the teachers.  It is a promotion/contest they are doing this year.  Our page follows that design except for the butterflies.  Instead of the Graphic 45 metal butterflies I used Sizzix chipboard butterflies painted with Silks.  I used Accent Essentials and Lacey Labels for the circle and scalloped circle.
Closeup of corner
Then I  design a second page for the ladies.   I love working with this paper.

Tomorrow I will share the June layout with A Place in Time.
Hope you enjoyed this layout.
