Gate fold Lattice Card for Spring

Hello everyone- It's my turn to share today at Paper Crafting World
This is the Gate Fold Lattice Card  and the  Rolled roses file.
With Spring around the corner I thought it would be nice to make some flowery cards.
The paper I used is from my stash and had beautiful double sided floral patterns and coordinating colors so it was perfect for this.  I used white Bazzil for the lattice and the same paper for the roses with pearl centers.  The roses have a scalloped edge when cut which makes them even more pretty.
I did not add a sentiment yet to the inside as I find it nice to have cards that I can use for any occasion and add the sentiment when needed.
The leaves are done with a Spell binder die cut.
Here is the card closed

Here is the card open.

Please check out these and other wonderful files Melin has designed at Paper Crafting World.
There are amazing cut files and digital files.

Five layouts I did at crop

These layouts were done a few weeks ago at a crop.  I have been so busy with teaching classes and projects for the store that I haven't spent much time doing my own layouts.  Crops are my chance to focus on my pages.  So here are some of the pages I did.

You're the KIng of my heart card from Paper Crafting World

With Valentine's just a few days away I have been busy creating cards for my sweet little grandchildren.  This is my card for my 15 month old grandson Micah.
I used an assortment of papers left from previous years for this card and cut them on the Silhouette.
When I was first on Melin's Design Team I cut my files with Sure Cuts A lot on an "unnamed machine"  but now I have a Silhouette and I love using Melin's PCW files.
In fact I love my Silhouette so much I am taking classes online from the Kerry Bradford Studios so that I can use my machine to the best of it's abilities.
The files I used are from Paper Crafting World
I used my Copic Markers to color this adorable digi
E30, E33, E21, YR23, YR24, E50, 100, RV02, RV06,. G07 Y17 and Y15.

Valentine banner with Doodlebug and Julie Nutting dolls

I made this Valentine banner using a file from the Silhouette store.  The paper used was last years Doodlebug Valentine paper.  I then added pieces to add to the tops of each banner piece to reinforce the pieces.  Each one was punched with a different heart or fancy Martha Stewart punches.  Between each banner piece I added white, pink and red netting and ribbon.  The  word  Love was cut from the Cricut Storybook.  I then stamped and cut out two different Julie Nutting stamps and paper pieced their dresses.  I colored the hair,  cheeks and shoes with Copic markers.  I then added Julie Nutting wings stamped on paper and pop dotted the dolls atop white and red  heart shaped doilies.  The last thing I did was add gems for earrings and necklaces.  And viola Happy Valentines Day.

Mickey MInnie birthday layouts

In November we had a dual birthday party for two of my grandkids.  Kenzie turned 3 and her brother Micah turned one within one month of each other.  The theme of the party was Mickey and Minnie.  They dressed up in their Halloween costumes and were just the cutest little Mickey and Minnie.  Rather than use birthday paper I used some of my Disney paper to go with the theme and decorations.

I used the invites I made on this page.

Cigar box to altered Tropical Photobox

I saw the cutest photo box at CHA made from a Kaisercraft box and  Kaisercraft Tropical paper.
A scrapbook friend of mine has been giving me cigar boxes to use for projects.  I knew I had some black boxes that were very deep and the right size so I came home and used this idea to create a photo box.
These would be great for a trip or trips and a fun way to keep your photos.

Here is the box closed.
Here is the box open.  On the inside of the lid I pop dotted a tropical picture and then hot glue gunned net and shells around the edge.  I left a moat around the edge so the box closed correctly.l

Inside the box are 6 chipboard dividers. The tabs were made by cutting a 2 inch by two inch piece and folding it in 1/2.  I then cut the corners with a We R Memory Keepers Punch.  Each divider can be labeled.  I also made a 3 x 4  mini book that can be put in the inside lid or in the box for journaling the trip.

I am designing another photo box right now with some different paper.  I will share it when complete.

Hanging Clipboard Project

This is a project I made after going to CHA.  I saw a lot of cute clipboard projects and of course chalkboard projects.  I took an extra large white clipboard that we had at the Scrapbook store where I teach and spray painted it with black chalkboard paint.  Then I used this cute paper to decorate it and added black tiny clothespins.  That way pictures can be added to the squares.  I used a variety of punches to make some little flowers  to decorate the top.   This is Kaisercraft Take Note line of paper.  With the extra paper I made a couple of  note cards on Kraft paper.

My Mini book has now been published by Northridge Publishing in the February Cricut Mini Album

Update:  This is the book I designed this past Summer and has now been published in the Cricut Mini Book Magazine online at Northridge Publishing.  Three whole pages.  So excited.  I wish I could get a paper copy to carry around and show everyone but due to cost it is online only.

This is my next class that I will be teaching at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park.  The paper and embellishments are from the Bo Bunny Key Lime Collection which has such bold colorful graphics.
